FOUNDER & TUTOR
Thompson I.
Thompson I. leads Verity Learning with a patient, structured approach to mathematics and business. Lessons start with the idea behind a method, then move towards application and independent explanation.
His academic background includes an MSc in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence with Distinction from the University of Suffolk (2024), an MBA in Banking and Finance (2023), and a BSc in Entrepreneurship and Management (2017). This combines analytical thinking with a practical understanding of business.
How we choose a tutor
A qualification alone does not establish teaching fit. We look for subject knowledge, clear explanations, thoughtful questioning and the ability to respond to a learner’s starting point.
- A discussion of the course, age group and teaching experience.
- A subject-focused interview and demonstration of explanations.
- Identity, qualifications and references as part of the suitability process.
- DBS and other relevant checks where applicable to the role.
- Agreement to safeguarding, professional communication and reporting expectations.
Individual check status and the relevant tutor profile are confirmed before a placement. This website does not certify a tutor’s DBS status or publish unverified endorsements.
