VERITY LEARNING
GCSE Progress
Years 10–11. Follow a structured plan with targeted practice, useful feedback and regular review.
Who this is for
Students starting or continuing their GCSE courses who want a consistent plan rather than last-minute revision.
How the plan works
- Check the specification, exam board and any maths tier or set texts.
- Balance current class topics with gaps from earlier learning.
- Practise retrieving knowledge, applying methods and explaining decisions.
- Review marked work and agree manageable priorities for the next cycle.
What parents can expect
An agreed starting point, a small number of priorities and a review of specific skills. We distinguish guided success from independent success. A tutor can adapt the pace and materials when the student needs a smaller step.
Choosing frequency
A weekly lesson can support steady practice; a shorter assessment window may justify additional sessions. More lessons are not automatically better. Workload, school commitments and the opportunity to practise between sessions matter.
Is this a fixed-price package?
No package or minimum commitment is implied here. The hourly rate is £30. The proposed lesson length, cancellation terms and any package conditions are explained before booking.
